Picture of Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche Letter of Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche to the MFI, October 25, 2001

At 25/10/01 the MFI recieved a letter from Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche:

Dear Mr. Kalden

Muktinath-Chumig Gyatsa in Nepal is an important pilgrimage place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Born in the lineage of famous Nyingma Lama's of the Domar family and being Lama of Nepal, the caretaker of Muktinath, Lama Wangyal, is well respected amongst people. I am happy to learn the Muktinath Foundation International (MFI) is helping Wangyal Lama to preserve Muktinath-Chumig Gyatsa and the local religious traditions of the indigenous people of Muktinath Valley. May many people create merit by supporting your organization and its goal,

With my [blessing] and [the] blessing of Triple Gems,

Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche
